Free Theatre at the Beach Festival - Ocean View, De
 

Each summer, the foundation holds a Free Theatre at the Beach Festival featuring plays or musicals for the whole family.  In 2007, Free Theatre at the Beach featured, Coconut Road, an original musical written by Harold Schmidt, and presented by The Village Players Community Theatre Group. More than 1,400 people enjoyed this smash hit for all ages. To purchase a CD of the soundtrack of Coconut Road, please email Harold Schmidt.

Morgan Arts Council Summer Concert Series - Berkeley Springs, WV
 

The Carl M. Freeman Foundation is proud to have sponsored the 2007 Morgan Arts Council Summer Concert Series. The free concert series offered something for every taste from rockabilly and hillbilly tunes to modern jazz, reggae and African drums. During its 21 year history, the series has drawn more than 40,000 attendees.

 
Music at Marketplace - Ranson, WV
 

Free family friendly concerts are held at The Marketplace at Potomac Towne Center in Ranson, West Virginia on the Charles C. Marcus Football Field (behind the Weis Supermarket).

Our 2007 schedule included the South Mountain String Band & RockCandy Cloggers; The Grandsons, and Hot Soup! These bands brought old time mountain music, rockabilly tunes and acoustic tunes to the Eastern Panhandle of WV for more than 1,000 neighbors to enjoy.
