The Carl M. Freeman Foundation was established in 1960 by Carl M. Freeman and is now led by Michelle D. Freeman as President and Chairman. The Foundation supports philanthropic causes in the greater Washington, DC and Delmarva communities, as well as the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia through grants and capacity-building opportunities.
