Montgomery County, Maryland

  • A Wider Circle
    To support the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program, which collects donated furniture to distribute to those challenged by homelessness, poverty, or abuse.
  • Art For The People
    To support 30 weekly visual art classes for the chronically homeless.
  • College Tracks
    To support the College Success Program, which works with low-income youth to ensure they have the resources and support to apply to, attend, and graduate from college.
  • Court Appointed Special Advocate of Montgomery County
    To recruit volunteers to serve as advocates for children in the foster-care system and help place them in permanent homes as quickly as possible.
  • The Dwelling Place
    To provide transitional housing that provides not just a place to live, but a home complete with furniture, linens, and a sense of dignity for the families that live there.
  • Eastern Montgomery Emergency Assistance Network
    To prevent eviction and utility shutoff for people struggling to make ends meet.
  • Olney Help
    To purchase communication tools so that community members in need of eviction and utility shut-off prevention are connected to the resources they need.
  • Pyramid Atlantic
    To fund the Youth Empowerment Skills Program, a creative 5-week summer program for inventive teen artists and entrepreneurs.
  • Rainbow Community Development Center
    To increase the capacity to store and maintain perishable items in the food pantry by purchasing a refrigeration system.
  • Rainbow Place
    To provide emergency shelter for homeless women and engage them in the necessary steps to secure stable housing and improved quality of life.

Sussex County, Delaware

  • Delaware Nature Society's Abbott's Mill Nature Center
    To provide scholarships to allow children without means to attend trips to the Abbott’s Mill Nature Center.
  • Frankford Elementary School
    To fund the PAL Mentoring Program, which supports children's needs in the areas of language arts and mathematics, while creating lasting relationships between community volunteer mentors and students.
  • Georgetown Boys and Girls Club
    To support the Pegasus ArtWorks after school art program, which employs professional artists to work with children and foster a love of the arts.
  • Indian River School District - Odyssey of the Mind Program
    To help send the state title winning Odyssey of the Mind team to the World Finals at Iowa State University to compete for the world title.
  • La Esperanza, Inc.
    To prepare and enable hundreds of parents to participate in the education of their children by teaching them English and providing assistance to the schools for parent meetings.
  • National Science & Technology Education Partnership
    To expand the Study Buddy Program, which helps low-income under-performing math students through free online tutoring so that geography, scheduling conflicts, or income no longer stand in the way of possible success.
  • Primeros Pasos, Inc.
    To support the expansion of the Primeros Pasos facility and double its capacity by providing computers, furnishings, additional copies of the Creative Curriculum and additional staffing.
  • The Wellness Community, Delaware
    To fund The Healing Journey, a holistic approach to living well with cancer, including nutrition, stress reduction, education, and expressive arts. 
  • YWCA Delaware Inc.
    To support two programs that help empower Sussex County women: small business development and domestic violence prevention.
